Support The Sprinkle Project
Every donation to The Sprinkle Project helps ensure children and youth in state and foster care feel celebrated and seen during life's meaningful moments.
Your support allows us to provide custom desserts and quick celebration treats for birthdays, milestones and other special occasions - moments that are sometimes overlooked for children experiencing displacement.
How Donations are Used
Donations support:
- Outreach & Marketing
- Printing flyers, creating social media materials, and community outreach to connect with others letting them know about The Sprinkle Project.
- Future yearly get-together celebrations for those we provide desserts.
- We hope to plan a big celebration for the families we help throughout the year. As we grow, this will become more often. Often times children and youth in care do not get celebrations. We want to change that.
- Website & Technology Upkeep
- Maintaining our website, forms, and systems so families, bakeries, and donors can easily connect with us.
- Desserts & Celebration Supplies
- With party supply donations, we can pass these to Jacob Gutierrez, DFPS Faith Based Community Engagement Coordinator for Region 8. Mr. Gutierrez then passes these out to families in need.

Is my donation tax-deductible?
- The Sprinkle Project is a nonprofit organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. A donation receipt will be provided for your records.
How will my donation be used?
Donations support The Sprinkle Project’s charitable mission, including:
- Outreach & Marketing
- Future yearly get-together celebrations
- Website & Technology Upkeep
- Dessert & Celebration Supplies will be passed to the Faith Based Coordinator with DFPS. You may also donate those directly to Jacob Gutierrez.
Do families have to pay or donate to receive desserts?
- No. Desserts are always provided free of charge to recipients.
- Donations are never required and do not affect eligibility or access to services.
Can I designate my donation for a specific child or occasion?
- At this time, donations support the overall mission of The Sprinkle Project and help us serve families based on need and availability. This allows us to operate fairly and sustainably.
Is my donation secure?
- Yes. We use secure, trusted payment platforms to process donations and protect donor information.
Can I donate in honor or memory of someone?
- Yes. You may choose to make a donation in honor or memory of someone special. These gifts help us continue spreading joy in meaningful ways.
Do you accept recurring donations?
- Yes. Monthly or recurring donations are a powerful way to help sustain our work and allow us to plan responsibly for future celebrations.
Does The Sprinkle Project accept in-kind donations?
- We may accept donations of supplies or materials based on current needs. Please contact us before donating items so we can ensure they align with our program guidelines.
How do you protect the privacy of the families you serve?
- We are committed to dignity and confidentiality. We do not share names, stories, or photos of recipients without explicit and written permission, and participation is never contingent on publicity.
Can I volunteer instead of donating?
- Absolutely. We welcome volunteers who want to support our mission through their time and talents.
- At this time, the only volunteering available is fulfilling dessert requests.
