Who can request a dessert?

• Guardians/Caregivers/Foster Parents
• Case Workers
• Schools/Group Homes

Is there a cost to receive a dessert?

• No. Desserts are provided at no cost to recipients.
• Donations are optional and never required. A family's ability or inability to donate does not affect eligibility.

What types of desserts do you provide?

• The child will be able to choose their preferred dessert.
• Options are:
  • 6" Round Cake
  • One dozen full size cupcakes
  • One dozen 3.5" Iced Cookies
  • One Dozen Cake Pops
  • 8" Cookie Cake

Can desserts be customized?

• We always do our best to provide simple personalization, such as:
  • Child's name
  • Favorite theme and/or colors
  • Message on cake

How do I request a dessert?

• Fill out our "Sweet Request" Form linked below.
• You will receive a follow up to gather details and determine the best location for pick up/delivery.
• We recommend submitting requests, at least 2 weeks in advance when possible.

What if I need a dessert sooner?

• Fill out the form and we will do our best to accommodate.
• If the notice is too soon, we also have 'Quick Dessert' locations. We will provide you with a flyer you can redeem at a participating location.

Can one child receive more than one dessert in a year?

• Yes, absolutely! There are many different types of celebrations! We are here for birthdays, graduations, new home, good report cards, new job ... and the list goes on.
• We may need to limit depending on availability, but we will always do our best to help celebrate - even if it's something small.

Are all requests guaranteed?

• While we wish we could fulfill every request, availability depends on volunteer capacity, funding, and scheduling.

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions or allergies?

• We take food safety seriously. Please include all known dietary restrictions or allergies in your request form.
• While we strive to accommodate common needs, availability may vary. We may not be able to guarantee allergen-free environments.

How are desserts delivered?

• Delivery and pick up will vary by location and volunteer availability.
• Details will be shared once request has been approved.

Is my information kept private? 

• Yes. All personal information is confidential and used only to fulfill requests. Stories, photos and names are never shared publicly without explicit and written consent.

Can I request a dessert anonymously?

• Yes. Case workers or partner organizations may submit requests on behalf of families to protect privacy.

What if I need to make a change or cancel?

• If you need to make a change or cancel your request, please let us know as soon as possible so we can best support families and respect our volunteers' time.

How can I say 'thank you' or share feedback?

• Gratitude is always appreciated, but never expected.
• If you would like to share feedback, a note, or a story, you may do so by emailing us at SweetRequest@TheSprinkleProjectTX.org.

How can I support The Sprinkle Project?

• All support helps us continue spreading joy, one sprinkle at a time.
• Support can take many forms:
  • Volunteering
  • Donating supplies or funds
  • Sharing our mission with others.
